The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, Lewis Hamilton, earned the 97th win of this career by winning the Portuguese Grand Prix in Portimao.
Hamilton, who missed out on the 100th pole start of his career, picked his opportunity perfect to overtake Max Verstappen and then his teammate, Valterri Bottas.
Hamilton was first past the checkered flag, followed by Verstappen and then Bottas.
Hamilton says the race was won and lost by the finest of margins.
“That was such a tough race physically and mentally. I didn't get a good start and also lost out at the restart but it was a great result in the end.
“Today wasn't all perfect and we need to get ready now for the quick turnaround for Spain.”
It's a record 15th time the trio has all be on the podium together.
