The Formula 1 saga seems to be far from over after the manufacturer, Mercedes, signaled their intention to appeal.
This comes after the Dutch driver, Max Verstappen, was crowned the F1 World Champion for 2021 after winning the dramatic Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.
Following the controversial race, Mercedes, protested the result, but this was dismissed by the Stewards.
In brief statement the manufacturer stated that they will appeal the decision of the Stewards under Article 14 of the Sporting Code and Article 10 of the Judicial and Disciplinary Rules.

Verstappen has won a maiden driver’s championship, while Lewis Hamilton was fighting for a record eighth title.
