On Friday, England beat South Africa 3-0 in a game that saw no goals being scored for open play.

On Saturday the English claimed their second win with a 2-1 victory over Ireland.

The Junior Proteas will be up against the Irish on Monday morning and the assistant coach, Luke Makeleni, said that it is imperative to improve on the opportunities they get in the game in order to record an important win.

“As a group we want to bounce back and work on how we need to improve from the last game,” said Makeleni.

“When we have moments, we have to make sure that we up the percentages and get the end products a little bit better and so we can get more outcomes.

“We are very excited and it's another opportunity for us to go out there and try and get three points.”

This Pool B tie at the North West University gets underway at 11:00.
