For South Africa their introduction to the Pro League has been a tough learning experience with eight defeats on the bounce during the Potchefstroom leg of the competition.

Argentina is fourth in the standings with five wins and three defeats.

The Proteas captain, Keenan Horne, told OFM Sport that it's a good experience as they rebuild.

“The first eight games were quite tough and for us losing all of them wasn't easy.

“For us the most important thing is to keep the bigger picture in mind.

“It is a young team that has come out to Argentina. We have a lot of players that aren't available, so it's a good opportunity for the squad to keep building the depth.

“Of course, you never play an international match without wanting to win it, and that is what we are going to go out and do.

“We are going to try our best to come away with results, but also keep building on our processes and keep getting the small things right.”

Saturday's game in Buenos Aires gets underway at 21:00. The second international will be played on Sunday at the same time.
