Three South Africans are into the semi-finals of the 200m for men at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
Luxolo Adams, Sinesipho Damble, and Shaun Maswanganyi all advanced to the semi-finals following the heats.
Adams was the fastest South African and 7th fastest overall after qualifying in a time of 20.15 sec for a season's best.
Damble completed the half-lap sprint in 20.34 sec, while Maswanganyi ran a time of 20.56 sec.
The 200m for men semi-finals start on Thursday night at 20:20.
Meanwhile, on Thursday night at 21:35, the world record holder and former Olympic champion, Wayde van Niekerk, will run in the men's 400m final for men.
