The defending champions, the Gauteng Jaguars will face the Southern Stings in the first semi-final at the Ellis Park Arena.

The Golden Fireballs in turn will be in action against the Free State Crinums.

The Crinums, who are three-time champions, have led the competition throughout, however on the weekend they suffered their first defeat by losing 49-47 to the Fireballs.

While they rebounded with a convincing 54-33 win against the North West Flames, they suffered a second setback after losing 39-37 to the Jaguars.

Thy did still do enough to make the last four of the prestige tournament, however, their momentum has been halted somewhat.

A major plus for the Crinums is that they are known for fighting to the bitter end and there is no doubt that this will be the attitude going into the semi-finals.

At 16:00 the Jaguars are up against the Stings, while at 18:00 the Fireballs will be in action against the Crinums.
