Up Radio-aktiverings by geselekteerde uitstallers.

OFM, the sound of Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day 2022

OFM is once again proud to partner with Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day, the biggest agricultural show in the Southern Hemisphere.

This landmark event on the Central South African calendar will be presented outside Bothaville in the Free State from 16 to 20 May 2022, after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19 regulations. It will also be the first time that this showcase will be presented over five days.

OFM is not only the official media partner to the event, but also plans an array of activities during NAMPO Harvest Day 2022.

These include: live broadcasts from NAMPO Park of OFM’s Mid-Morning Magic and At Lunch shows, Monday to Friday, with a dedicated Agri Hour 11:00 – 12:00; dedicated traffic updates throughout the day to ensure listeners travel safely to and from the event; and special Pop Up Radio activations at selected exhibitors.

OFM has also created special advertising packages to assist exhibitors and agricultural stakeholders to tap into the prime marketing opportunities NAMPO Harvest Day 2022 presents.

“Whether you can be at this year's NAMPO Harvest Day or not, OFM radio advertising will make sure our listeners are informed about all the latest trends and products from the exhibitors. We are excited for some semblance of normalcy again and to support the agri sector. ‘Boer dat dit bars!’ ” says Anchen Lintvelt, OFM Sales Manager, who can be contacted with queries at anchen@ofm.co.za.

According to the organisers, agricultural producers and the public can once again experience first-hand what modern agriculture looks like. Regarded as the heartbeat of agriculture in South Africa, the 54th NAMPO Harvest Day offers a unique platform through which producers can expand knowledge and explore new technology and productivity solutions. Furthermore, NAMPO does not only present an opportunity for conversation and dialogue, but it also allows the public and other roleplayers to experience commercial agriculture, food safety and security in action.

“Even though agriculture remain under immense pressure, agriculturalists still have enough passion for farming to explore every aspect of agriculture that the Harvest Day has to offer in order to remain competitive and relevant,” says Danie Minnaar, chairperson of the NAMPO Harvest Day.

Dr Pieter Taljaard, Grain SA CEO further states that the absence of NAMPO Harvest Day highlighted the critical role this platform plays to facilitate networking in the agricultural sector: “To host government representatives and stakeholders from the agricultural value chain provide opportunity for important and sometimes challenging conversations to take place, in an environment conducive to and aimed at promoting the sector locally and throughout the Sub-Saharan region.”

OFM looks forward to working with the highly competent NAMPO Harvest Day team and cannot wait to share their offering with our loyal listeners.
