The Pumas and Tafel Larger Griquas have dominated proceedings in the North Section, with the two teams at numbers one and two respectively going into the final weekend of the group stages.  

The last weekend will present a nervy outing for the Tafel Lager Griquas as they face off against the Lions who sit 4 points behind them. For the Griquas to qualify for the semi-final, which will be played on the 15th of June, they'll need to avoid conceding 5 log points this weekend. The Northern Cape outfit have only lost one of their six games that they have played and are looking likely to reach the semi-final, along with the Pumas who lead the Northern Section.

The Southern Section, however, presents a lot more competition going into the final weekend. The Toyota Free State 15 take on the Border Bulldogs in Bloemfotein this weekend, needing 5 log points to secure a semi-final spot, provided the Southern Section Leader, Western Province, beat second placed Boland Caviliers when they meet in Cape Town this weekend. 

There are seven points which separate the three sides and the final weekend will determine which 4 teams play in the semi-final.

The two semi-finals will be played on Saturday the 15th of June, and it is believed that they will take place in Nelspruit on that weekend.
