Donald is still currently at the Boschenmeer Golf Estate in Paarl where he has been living for the past couple of years.

Donald told OFM Sport that he has already secured the necessary documentation to travel to Bloemfontein and cannot wait to start work.

“I am heading to Bloem next week Wednesday. I will be trucking it up.

“I can’t wait to officially start working. There was a lot of doubt if I would come down if it stayed at level four, but thankfully the whole country will be going down to level three which is fantastic.

“I’m looking forward to getting there and to start working with a few players.

“We can’t get the whole squad in but in June we will start the process. In the mornings we will get two guys in, two in the afternoons and late afternoons. So, we will be able to work in six batters and get the whole process started.

“We are only a month and a half in the post-season, although it feels like four months."

Donald was previously an assistant coach to Nicky Bojé and the Knights, and last season he served as a consultant.
