The Cheetahs have not played a game since 16 October when they beat the log-leading Bulls 19-17 in Bloemfontein.

Since then the Cheetahs’ game against the Lions was called off, while they enjoyed a bye during round four.

Cheetahs centre, William Small-Smith, told OFM Sport that this week it is all about focusing on the detail.

“Everybody rested well over the bye week and watched a bit of rugby.

“Everyone is eager to get back onto the park especially because we missed out against the Lions two weekends ago.

“It’s going to come down to hard work, attention to detail and just doing the small things right.

“We had a good week to rest our legs, recuperate and get some new energy.

“It’s about getting back onto the horse as quickly as possible and getting back into action.”

Friday evening’s game between the Sharks and the Cheetahs at the Shark Tank kicks off at 19:00.
