Mohoje, who has been out for more than two years, will play off the bench. Furthermore, the two new players, Jeandré Rudolph and Khutha Mchunu have also been named among the replacements.

Mohoje will provide cover on the bench as both a lock and loose-forward, as the need arises.

Last week Rudolph represented the Pumas against the Sharks in Nelspruit, while Mchunu joined the Cheetahs from the Sharks.

In other changes to the bench, the former Maties flyhalf, Reinhardt Fortuin, will be on debut as well, while Chris Smit makes his way into the match squad.

In changes to the starting XV, William Small-Smith plays at centre, Aidon Davis starts at eighth-man and JP du Preez slots in at lock.

Small-Smith replaces Benhard Janse van Rensburg, Davis is in for Jasper Wiese and Du Preez takes over from Walt Steenkamp.

Coach Hawies Fourie told OFM Sport that they are delighted to have Mohoje back, while Rudolph will add a lot of value, especially at the breakdown.

“It's a long time since Oupa has been on the field. I'm really glad for him that he has recovered and is back to full fitness. We are looking forward to his performance.

“Jeandré played against the Sharks last week and he has a very good game and made quite a few turnovers at the breakdown. That is one of the main reasons I contracted him.

“He is a very good fetcher and we need that in our pack of forwards.

“I had a discussion with him on Monday regarding their preparation against the Sharks.”
