This comes as the captain and flyhalf of the team, George Whitehead, has been forced to withdraw from the match after breaking his hand.

The injury occurred on Thursday during the captain’s run at Tafel Lager Park.

This since Tinus de Beer reclaimed the number ten jersey after starting against the Stormers last week, while the scrumhalf, Zak Burger, takes over the captaincy again.

Ashlon Davids has been promoted to the bench with De Beer moving up to the starting XV.

Friday evening’s game at Tafel Lager Park kicks off at 19:00.
