RugbyGriquas refreshed heading into Bulls battle

The Tafel Lager Griquas are feeling well-rested and ready for this weeks’ challenge when they host the log-leading Bulls in the Currie Cup.
The Peacock Blues enjoyed a bye last week and welcomed the break ahead of Saturday’s big match.
The last time the Griquas and Bulls played, the men from the Northern Cape fell just short with a 30-23 defeat at Loftus Versfeld.
The coach of the Griquas, Scott Mathie, told OFM Sport that they welcome playing against a loaded team.
“The guys have a bit of time off and it’s really to recharge the batteries.
“Six weeks on the bounce is tough both physically and mentally on the players, so we’re really grateful for that.
“The guys seem to be in good spirits and a break always helps for that.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the Bulls here on the weekend. They are obviously on the top of the table and a team loaded with Springboks. That just makes the opportunity even greater.
"The guys are just excited about the challenge. We are looking forward to it and it is obviously going to be a massive battle, especially upfront.
“We just got to make sure that we are prepared fully for that.”
Saturday’s match at Tafel Lager Park kicks off at 16:30.
