The midfielder has previously also represented the North-West University Eagles in the Varsity Cup before moving over to the Green Mile.

Boshoff who is also be being chased by some other big unions, will be with the Cheetahs until at least the end of the Currie Cup.

Boshoff told OFM Sport that he believes that the Cheetahs brand of rugby is one that will suite him.

“For me coming to the Cheetahs is a good opportunity to showcase my skills, improve and just become a better rugby player.

“They play a brand of rugby that will suite me and development me further as a player.

“I look forward to get experience by playing with guys like Clayton Blommetjies, Howard Mnisi and hopefully Frans Steyn when he comes back.”

Earlier in the week the Cheetahs contracted David Brits from Maties and Branden de Kock from UWC.
