The Griquas have put themselves in a strong position in the tournament with recent away wins against Western Province and the Lions, while they also beat the Toyota Cheetahs at home in round two.

A good win can move the Peacock Blues back to the top of the standings, but for that to happen they will need the points in Durban, and Western Province must beat the Bulls at Newlands in the North-South derby.

The Griquas lock, Cameron Lindsay, who will be playing off the bench, told OFM Sport that they can beat the Sharks.

“If we can execute our game plan, go to Durban and put in a good effort we could come away with a win.

“Every game is important and you know the competition is tough at the moment, whether you play home or away, every game matters and all points count.

“The team is really looking forward to it and hopefully it goes well.”
