The hooker, Julian Montoya, takes charge of the Pumas while the team's backbone is bolstered with the inclusion of Nicolas Sanchez, Pablo Matera, and Facundo Isa.

Juan Imhoff, Matias Orlando and Tomas Cubelli, who played in the team that beat the All Blacks 25-15 last year, will not feature this week.

Montoya said they look forward to the battle upfront.

“The Springbok pack is one of the best in the world. If we want to be the best, we must play against the best.

“We are really excited to play against them and it's a real challenge for us.

“Of course, I think that we are ready for them. We are training hard. We know we must be humble and we must work hard and with no shortcuts.

“The only way is to work and train hard. But we are really excited to play against them.”
