The third placed Griquas and the fourth placed Pumas are targeting one of the two spots up for grabs in the semi-finals, while they have Western Province breathing down their necks.

The Griquas coach, Scott Mathie, told OFM Sport that it’s important to focus on the job at hand.

“That game is finished now and we have put the win against Province well in the past. That game has no bearing on this weekend.

“We've got to treat this coming match as new game and new challenge and really focus on what we need to do to get the result.

“It will be a very tough game as the two teams know each really well, so it's bound to be tight.”

Mathie added that there are no really injury concerns at the moment, but player management will be important.

“We are just looking forward to the opportunity to run out on to the field together and express ourselves out there.

“There are no real injury concerns, so that is all good news.

“It's obviously the end of the season and we've just got to look after the boys. There are lots of little niggles but nothing to be concerned about.”

Saturday’s must win game at Tafel Lager Park kicks off at 14:30.
