Cohen Jasper returned from injury to start at fullback for the game, while Evardi Boshoff, will start at outside centre.

Reinhardt Fortuin has also recovered from an injury to slot back in at flyhalf, while the captain, Ruan Pienaar, returns to his more familiar role of scrumhalf.

Upfront, Marnus van der Merwe starts at flank, while Chucky van der Westhuizen will play at hooker, and Schalk Ferreira at loosehead prop.

The Springbok, Oupa Mohoje, returns from injury as well and will play off the bench, while Wilmar Arnoldi will cover at hooker.

A couple of injuries during training on Friday morning saw Hawies Fourie having to make late changes while also having to phone reserves to travel with to the capital city.

The Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, told OFM Sport that Jasper will get more attacking opportunities in his more familiar number 15 jersey.

“We are excited to see Cohen at fullback. He played a few games at wing and he did really well.

“He has a very good work rate and on attack he didn't get all the opportunities that he will get at fullback.

“At fullback you get more of the ball and he is an exciting and attacking player, so we look forward to what he can do.”
