The Boks have been in Queensland for quite some time ahead of their four remaining Tests in the tournament that will see them face Australia and the All Blacks twice each.

The Springbok assistant coach, Mzwandile Stick, hinted that a few World Cup winners could be available for selection this week.

“We've got good players in our squad that are working hard.

“We've good a lot of warriors in our squad, and also now in the position where we are currently, we've got a couple of our experienced players coming back from injuries.

“A guy like Duane Vermeulen who had been doing really well in the training sessions. Hopefully he will be ready for the first Test against Australia.

“Then we've also got guys like Faf de Klerk and Herschel Jantjies who are coming back from injury.”

The only major concern for the squad on tour on the injury front is versatile loose-forward, Rynhardt Elstadt.

The Springboks will name their side for Test against the Wallabies on Wednesday, and Sunday’s Test kicks off at 12:05.
