The Springboks will be naming their team on Wednesday for Saturday’s Rugby Championship Test against the Wallabies in Brisbane.

It is not expected that there will be too many, if any surprises in the team selection.

The Springboks will make a call on the availability of Cheslin Kolbe following Tuesday’s training session, while it remains to be seen if Jacques Nienaber will name three loose-forwards on the bench again.

The flanker, Franco Mostert, who is normally a lock, said that despite last Sunday’s 28-26 defeat, the mood in the camp remains upbeat and they have been in this situation before.

“Rugby just always stays a game. It is a funny game as you can be at your best and still lose and it is played with an odd-shaped ball that can bounce either way.

“You give away a few stupid penalties and the opposition team can capitalise on them by going first three points ahead and then six.

“We know we were off our game at the weekend but we know what we have to do to change the result.

“We know where we are and we have been in this situation before.

“We do know where to go from here and after doing it before we have the confidence that we can do it again.”

Saturday’s Test at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane kicks off at 9:05.
