While the Boks beat the British & Irish Lions, the going was a lot tougher while in Australia in the Rugby Championship, where they lost their first three Tests on a bounce.

The Boks did manage to beat the All Blacks 31-29 in Gold Coast in their last outing.

The Springbok centre, Lukhanyo Am, said they took a lot from that fine win.

“We are in a good space even though the results maybe didn't go our way.

“Finishing off like we did, gave us a huge confidence booster heading into the End of Year tour.

“We are really in a good space currently and we'll definitely try sticking to our strengths and prepare for this tour as best as we can.”

The Springboks are currently in France for the week before heading to Wales for next week’s Test against the Welsh in Cardiff.
