The Northern Cape Heat seamer, Johan van Dyk, is relishing the opportunity to play in the Mzansi Super League next season after being drafted by the Titans.
Van Dyk, who took six wickets for the Heat during Pool A of the CSA T20 Knockout was one of three players from the team to be picked, along with the captain, Aubrey Swanepoel, and all-rounder, Evan Jones.
Van Dyk told OFM Sport that he looks forward to learning, but for now, the focus is on red-ball cricket.
“I think it's a brilliant opportunity for guys that got drafted to get into a setup like that and getting the exposure and also the opportunity to just learn.
“I'm very keen on the MSL T20 and everything, but at the moment we are busy preparing for the four-day competition.
“It's a very important format for us and we are busy making sure that all the boxes are ticked.”
The 2022 MSL T20 is set to be played in February.
