Both the Cheetahs and Western Province will today be naming their sides for the clash in Bloemfontein.

Hawies Fourie will most likely name his strongest possible team for the game as they look to make a statement early.

The Cheetahs flyhalf, Reinhardt Fortuin, feels that both teams have a lot to gain from the match.

“They are also in preparation for the next leg of the United Rugby Championship that starts in South Africa soon.

“They definitely bring some intensity and look to play some running rugby instead of the European-style kicking game.

“It's definitely going to be a high-intensity game on Saturday, but we are looking forward to it.”

The pivot added that their training session against Zimbabwe last week was a good exercise and it helps going into the Toyota Challenge.

“The hit-out against Zimbabwe was great for the team and we would see where our fitness levels are at and how our game plan is coming along.

“While it was quite a hot day, it was nice to play some rugby for a change instead of going through preseason training. So, we’re looking forward to the game against Province.”

Saturday’s match between the Cheetahs and Province at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 17:30.
