That game is in the past - Vermeulen─── MORGAN PIEK 14:26 Thu, 18 Nov 2021
The Springboks will look to play to their strengths on Saturday when they face England at Twickenham in their last Test of the season.
The last time these two teams met was in the final of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, which was won 32-12 by the Springboks.
The Boks will also target a first unbeaten End of Year tour since 2013.
The seasoned Springboks loose-forward, Duane Vermeulen, said they have to look past the Yokohama final.
“We have mentioned it just a little bit. We have just looked at how we played, how England played and how things have changed during the past couple of years.
“There has been the Covid situation, so there isn’t a lot to look at. That game is in the past and you need to stay in the now and look to the future.
“We can only look at what we have and what we have seen so far and take it from there.”
Saturday’s Test at the home of English rugby kicks off at 17:15.
