The Peacock Blues will be targeting their first win of the campaign after suffering a 30-20 defeat to the Toyota Cheetahs on Saturday.

While the Griquas lost in Bloemfontein on the weekend they were certainly the better of the two teams in the second half of the match.

Following two solid performances against the Cheetahs, the young Zander du Plessis will once again play at flyhalf this week in the absence of the more seasoned George Whitehead.

Meanwhile, the former Sharks player, Rynhardt Jonker, told OFM Sport that he looks forward to facing his former team.

“I'm very excited for this challenge and I really look forward to going home and playing on Kings' Park.

“I also look forward to playing against some old mates I think it's going to be a tough battle out there.

“But I'm really looking forward to it and the team is also ready for this challenge.”

Wednesday’s game at Kings’ Park kicks off at 17:45.
