Specmagic fit and ready to play─── MORGAN PIEK 07:56 Tue, 01 Feb 2022
The Toyota Cheetahs have received more welcome news ahead of Wednesday night’s Currie Cup game against the Bulls in Pretoria.
The Springbok and Blitzbok winger, Rosko Specman, is fit and available for selection.
Specman has been out of action since November last year after injuring his knee in the Toyota Challenge in Bloemfontein.
It remains to be seen if he will be selected for the game against the defending champions, but it will come as a surprise if he is not.
Specman told OFM Sport that he is keen and ready to play and it’s a matter of being selected.
“Yes, it will be nice if I’m in the team against the Bulls. I’m fit and ready to move again, but we’ll have to wait and see what the coach will do.”
In addition to the possible return of Specman, the two flyhalves, Siya Masuku and Reinhardt Fortuin, are both fit an available for selection as well.
Coach Hawies Fourie will be naming his team to travel to the capital city on Tuesday morning.
Wednesday’s game between the Bulls and Cheetahs at Loftus Versfeld kicks off at 17:45.
