Masuku has made his return to the team after missing their opening game due to Covid-19, and he will be starting at flyhalf.

He has played the majority of this rugby for the Cheetahs at inside centre, but when he has donned the number 10 jumper he has excelled.

Pienaar told OFM Sport that he believes Masuku is a good enough player.

“I think that Siya has grown into that ten role really well. I thought that in the Toyota Challenge he outstanding and he was probably the best player for the Cheetahs. He controlled things really well, got the team in rights and I thought that he led the team really well off ten.

“Myself and Frans (Steyn) will try and help where we can, but I think that he is a really talented rugby player and he should be fine without the two of us. He is a really talented and down to earth guy that works really hard. It's great to see him performing so well for us.”
