The Bulls claimed back-to-back wins over the Lions in the URC over the past two weeks and they will seek to continue their momentum.

When these teams last met, it was the Sharks that won 30-16 in Durban.

Bulls lock, Ruan Nortjé, feels the setpiece and breakdown will be vital.

“In that previous game we did struggle a bit in our setpiece and that gave the Sharks a lot of opportunities to get into our 22 and covert into three points.

“A massive step-up will be needed from us at scrum-time this weekend. We will also need to improve and work hard at the breakdown.

“We did struggle there, so will just have to work hard at the breakdown and step it up against the Sharks.”

Heading into this weekend's game, both teams have recorded just three wins so far and are on 16 points. The Sharks are lying in 11th, with the Bulls in 12th.

Saturday's game in Pretoria kicks off at 17:05.
