The Namibian international prop, Aranos Coetzee, will be making his 100th appearance for the Toyota Cheetahs when they face Western Province in Cape Town tomorrow in the Currie Cup.

Coetzee will be starting at tighthead prop for the game in the Mother City.

Jeandré Rudolph moves to the back of the scrum with Mihlali Mosi being rotated to the bench, while Andisa Ntsila will start at flank.

Aidon Davis has recovered from his injury he sustained against the Sharks and will once again start lock.

In the back, Reinhardt Fortuin, starts with Siya Masuku out due to flu, while Brandon Thomson has been named on the bench.

The Cheetahs also see the return of Rosko Specman on the wing following his concussion protocol. Specman was concussed minutes after coming onto the field in Bloemfontein the previous match between the Cheetahs and Western Province.

Frans Steyn has also been named in the starting line-up after returning from the Springbok alignment camp in Durban.

Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, told OFM Sport that Friday's match in Cape Town will be a big milestone for Coetzee.

“It is a great milestone, especially at the Cheetahs.

“We seem to lose players that do well after two or three years. He has been with us for quite a long time.

“He is the first player in South Africa to play more than 50 Pro Rugby games for one union.

“It's a big milestone for Aranos and he is an experienced player. I'm pretty sure that Friday will be special day for him.”

Friday’s game at the Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 16:45.
