The team from the Mother City moved up to second in the standings following their 32-7 win over the Glasgow Warriors at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday evening.

Stormers coach, John Dobson, feels their second half was their best rugby of the season.

“To my mind that second half was probably our best performance of the whole campaign.

“I think that's where we get our physicality from. If you offload, at that next breakdown you can attack. That was what Glasgow was saying now, they just couldn't live with it.

“That was our best performance thus far.”

The Stormers will face the Irish giants, Leinster, this week and they will want to set the record straight after stumbling in Durban.

Meanwhile, the Sharks moved up to fourth in the standings with their 28-23 win over the leaders, Leinster.

The Bulls beat Benetton 46-29 to move up to 8th, while the Lions are in 12th, following their 33-30 defeat to Connacht.
