The Toyota Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, has called on his charges to lift their game as they approach the business end of the competition.

The Cheetahs have a tough run into the playoffs with matches against the Sharks, Bulls, Griquas and Pumas lying ahead.

While three of their games will be at home, the match against the Griquas in Kimberley will be tough.

Fourie told OFM Sport that they cannot just focus on the Sharks and the Bulls.

“It is exactly what we talked about in the change room after the game. When you go to the business end of the competition, it's not just those two teams you have focus on.

“If you look at the Pumas beating the Sharks in Durban, they are playing really well at the moment.

“They are a tough team to play against, especially in Kimberley.

“We can't just look at the Sharks and the Bulls, we've got produce against the Pumas and the Griquas as well if we want to finish at the top of the log. “

Saturday at 14:30, the Cheetahs will tackle the Sharks at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
