The Toyota Cheetahs loose-forward Mihali Mosi is good to go when tackle the Sharks on Saturday in the Currie Cup, and the match in Bloemfontein will be a personal one for him.

Mosi was carried off the field last week following a knock to the jaw, but he is fit and ready to play in the game in Bloemfontein.

Mosi has grown in leaps and bounds since joining the Cheetahs from the Madibaz last year.

Mosi who turned 26-years-old on Thursday told OFM Sport that he has enjoy his time at the Cheetahs and this week’s game will be personal.

“Playing with the experienced guys has helped me a lot because they steered me in the right direction where I needed it.

“They gave me advice where I needed it, so playing with the experienced guys really helped me a lot in order for me to improve my game.

“Last week it was the funeral of my uncle and this week it's my birthday, so I'm going to try and give it my all to contribute to a win for the team.”

Mosi showed no ill effects from the knock he took to the jaw against Lions which led to him being stretchered off the field. Although he trained with a scrumcap on Thursday he is expected to be named in the team to tackle the Sharks.

Saturday’s game at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 14:30.
