The Griquas loose-forward, Sibabalo Qoma, looks forward to the prospect of making a return to the Toyota Cheetahs later in the year.
Qoma previously represented Free State and University of the Free State Shimlas. He also played a handful of games for the Griffons before making a move to the Griquas.
At the Cheetahs Qoma will join a super competitive loose-forward department and he welcomes the challenge.
Qoma told OFM Sport that it’s important for him to focus on his own game in the competitive department.
“I studied here in Bloemfontein and I have a few friends here, so it would be awesome to see them again.
“I was at the Cheetahs before and I kind of look forward to the prestigious similarities and things like that.
“The wonderful thing about me is that I never really focus on what other people are doing.
“When we were growing, we were taught that you must worry about yourself and that's what I've been doing, but it will be a great challenge to mix myself with those players at the Cheetahs.”
Qoma is expected to play against the Cheetahs in next week’s Currie Cup derby in Kimberley.
