On Tuesday the Griffons tackle the defending champions, the Leopards after Saturday’s fixture in Welkom was postponed until tomorrow due to bad weather.

The Griffons will also have to travel this week to play against EP in Gqeberha.

The Griffons hooker, Dandré Delport, told OFM Sport that the first priority is to focus on the Leopards.

“It's going to be a very important week for us, said the player who represented the Cheetahs in a game earlier in the year.

“One thing that we are going to need to do is switch on mentally. Having said that, we are up for the challenge.

“We also need to take it game-by-game. We are focusing on the Leopards on Tuesday, and then after game, regroup and turn our attention to Eastern Province.

“It's going to be a big game on Tuesday and we are looking forward to it.”

Tomorrow’s rescheduled game in Welkom kicks off at 15:00.
