The three-time world champions are under pressure heading into the tournament following their recent series against Ireland in New Zealand.

The All Blacks have assembled in Wellington to prepare for the tour that will feature Tests in Nelspruit and Johannesburg.

The All Blacks flyhalf, Richie Mo'unga, said it's a good opportunity to silence all their critics.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to right a few wrongs, and to be better because we know we’re capable,” he said.

“We need to make a statement about who we are as All Blacks.

“It's tough, it's really tough. We haven't been there in a while, but they are a team with so much confidence after their win against Wales. They have their fans as well and it can be hostile.

“But, what a chance for us - that's just the way I look at it. I don't see it any other way than this opportunity being against the toughest team, in the toughest place to play footy. We are really looking forward to it.

Next week’s Test at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit kicks off at 17:05.
