The All Blacks have made four changes to their starting XV for Saturday’s Rugby Championship Test against the Springboks in Johannesburg.

The only change to the backline sees Richie Mo’unga starting at flyhalf with Beauden Barrett moving to the bench.

Upfront, Shannon Frizell earns a start on the flank, while Tyrel Lomax will start at tighthead prop and Ethan de Groot will play at loosehead.

The replacement tighthead, Fletcher Newell, is set to make his All Blacks debut off the bench.

Meanwhile, the coach Ian Foster said despite their three consecutive defeats, the mood in the camp remains high and it’s always a special occasion playing against the Springboks at Ellis Park.

“Belief and confidence remain high in our group, which is working incredibly hard this week, said the under-pressure coach.

“Playing at Ellis Park is always a special occasion for any All Black team, and this weekend will be no different.

“Adding to that, the Freedom Cup is on the line which makes this a challenge that everyone is looking forward to.”
