Springboks confident in their flyhalf depth─── MORGAN PIEK 09:24 Tue, 13 Sep 2022

The Springboks are confident with their depth in the squad at flyhalf ahead of Saturday’s Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires.
The Rugby Championship Test is a crucial one for both teams and in order to start a chance of winning the competition, a bonus point win will be required this week.
Handré Pollard is injured and Elton Jantjies has been sent back to South Africa, and it is expected that Damian Willemse can once again don the number 10 jersey.
The Springboks forwards coach, Deon Davids, said they can even bank on a player such as Frans Steyn of the Cheetahs.
“In the last round, Damian started as Elton was injured and we felt that Damian had a good game. So, we are very happy with where we are with him,” said Davids.
“We are also lucky to have with us in the team the experience of Frans Steyn, who has played at flyhalf before. Faf has also played one or two games there.
“As a team, we adapt to the circumstances. We’ve done it in the past few games. We are really happy with where we are and with Damian in that position.”
Jacques Nienaber will be naming his team for the Test in the Paris of South America on Tuesday. Saturday’s Test at Estadio Jose Amalfitani kicks off at 21:10.
