The Springboks are expected to name an unchanged starting XV for Saturday’s Rugby Championship Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires.

The Boks are set to name the same run-on team that beat the Wallabies 24-8 in Sydney nearly a fortnight ago.

The only changes to the match-23 are set to be on the bench with Elrigh Louw replacing Duane Vermeulen, Faf de Klerk replacing Cobus Reinach and André Esterhuizen coming in for Warrick Gelant.

Meanwhile, the Springbok are braced what is set to be a bruising battle against the Argentines.

Under the guidance of Michael Cheika, the Argentines have delivered in the championship this year and they have already beaten the Wallabies 48-17 and the All Blacks 25-18.

Playing against the World Champions in front of their home support will also further motivate the Pumas.

The Springbok assistant coach, Deon Davids, warns that their counterparts will be switched on for the Test.

“They are a well-coached side and it showed in their victories against Australia and New Zealand. I also think they would have learned a lot of lessons going into the last two games.

“They will also be playing in front of a passionate home crowd, so they won’t need additional motivation against us. It is going to be an extremely challenging battle.”

Saturday’s Test between the Pumas and Springboks at Estadio Jose Amalfitani kicks off at 21:10.
