Pumas call on Imhoff for Durban Test─── MORGAN PIEK 08:13 Fri, 23 Sep 2022
Argentina has turned to the player who helped them win their first Test in South Africa as the Pumas prepare to take on the Springboks in Durban on Saturday in the Rugby Championship.
The coach Michael Cheika has made only two changes to the starting lineup that lost to the Springboks 36-20 in Buenos Aires.
Juan Imhoff, who scored three tries in Argentina's 37-25 victory in Durban in 2015, will start on the wing in place of Lucio Cinti. The other change will see Matias Moroni running on at outside centre.
The scrumhalf, Gonzalo Bertranou, said they're in Durban to win the Test.
“We know that this will be an opportunity and we are chasing a third victory here. We know what we have to do to face the World Champions.
“We are happy to be here and we love playing in South Africa.
“Wherever we go, not only in South Africa, we aim to win.”
