The Bulls continue their search for the winger, Sbu Nkosi, who has been missing for the past three weeks.

The Bulls haven’t been able to locate the 26-year-old outside back and they have now also officially opened a missing person’s case at the Brooklyn Police Stadium in Pretoria.

On Saturday the Bulls stated that the player has been absent without leave since 11 November and there are concerns for his wellbeing.

On Monday the company released another statement urging the public for any assistance in locating Nkosi.

“Please note, the most recent stories in relation to Nkosi’s whereabouts are untrue. We have not located the player and have not issued any updates in relation to this.

“We continue to receive tip offs and information from the public (through the info@bluebull.co.za line we shared in the initial club statement) and all these are being shared with the police as well as other relevant stakeholders who are assisting in the matter.

“We continue to appeal to the wider public to share any information they have that may help with the case.

“Finally, we appreciate that this has become a story with international interest and we continue to commit to keeping everyone in the know, as and when we have any substantive developments.

“Thank you for your support and cooperation.”

Nkosi has scored nine tries in 16 Tests for the Springboks and earlier in 2022 he joined the Bulls from the Sharks.
