Griquas confident heading into 'repeat final'─── MORGAN PIEK 15:07 Wed, 07 Jun 2023

The Griquas have made just one change to their starting XV for Friday's all-important Currie Cup clash against the Pumas in Kimberley.
The only change is at tighthead prop with Janu Botha returning at the expense of Justin Forwood. Botha was struggling with a slight niggle ahead of the match against Western Province last week and the team opted not to risk the player.
Forwood moves back to the bench, while Eddie Davids drops out of the match 23.
The match is essentially a repeat of last year's final, and both teams need a win in order to try and secure a spot in the semi-finals.
The Griquas are on an unbeaten run at the moment they will want to keep that momentum going forward.
The Griquas coach, Pieter Bergh, told OFM Sport that they will treat the game as a final.
“We are bringing that momentum into this game after three unbeaten matches.
“We are also playing really good rugby. It's not like we are winning and not playing good rugby. It gives us a lot of confidence.
“We have really been playing knockout rugby over the last few weeks. We haven't really spoken about last year’s final and getting revenge this week.
“This focus is on this year and we need to win the game to progress to the semi-finals.”
