The Welsh will be fired up for the Test after losing 19-17 to England at Twickenham on the weekend, while a week prior they beat the English 20-9.

The Boks enjoyed a week away from the field last week after recently beating Argentina 24-13 in Buenos Aires.

The Boks will name their team for the Test this afternoon and it is expected that a close to full-strength team will be picked.

The former Free State Cheetahs coach and Bok scrum guru, Daan Human, said the Welsh will be well prepared and they will lack no motivation, especially with the World Cup looming.

“It’s going to be an arm-wrestle of a match,” said Human.

“They won four of their last five matches against us in Wales and they’ll use that as motivation. In the 2019 World Cup semi-final we got a last-minute penalty to beat them, so we know what we are in for.

“They are well coached, they can take you to the gutters, and they come off a tough training camp, so we need to perform well if we want the result.

“From our perspective, we’d like to be more effective within our systems and the way we do things and that’s our focus this week, rather than the World Cup.”

Saturday’s Test in Cardiff kicks off at 16:05.
