The Toyota Cheetahs will want to control the controllable when they face the Western Force in Claremont on Saturday in the Toyota Challenge.

Last week the Cheetahs lost 30-27 to the Force in Mandurah in a match which saw the players being left bewildered by several of the officiating decisions.

There we definately instances where the Cheetahs discipline did let them down, but the teams frustration was visible.

Instead of dwelling on the negatives the Cheetahs will instead opt to focus on their process as they build towards their second season in the EPCR Challenge Cup.

The Cheetahs captain, Victor Sekekete, told OFM Sport that it’s important to just focus on their own game.

“There is a lot that happened in the previous game that was out of our hands,” said the towering lock.

“I think that barrier of communication and getting the rules straight is what we struggled with and going into this fourth game we are looking to fix that we want to get right and adapt in that manner.”

“Other than that, we can't control anything else, but we can control what we do on the field. If we do what we have to do, then the result will come by itself.”

Saturday’s game between the Force and Cheetahs in Claremont kicks off at 9:00.
