It was a near perfect start for the Blitzboks on Friday with two out of two wins on day one of the Perth Sevens in Australia.
In their opening game of the third leg of the SVNS World Series, the Blitzboks earned a 24-7 win over Canada, with the captain Selvyn Davids scoring a brace of tries.

Jaime Manteca and Anton Legoburu Anso scored the whitewash for the Spanish, while Nicolas Nieto and Juan Ramos each converted a try.
The Blitzboks next assignment in Pool A will be the Los Pumas of Argentina on Saturday. Argentina in turn won both of their opening game as well.
