After a great start to their Perth Sevens campaign with wins against Canada and Spain, a loss in their Pool A decider game this morning did not hinder their chances of making a comeback from their Cape Town Sevens disappointment at the inaugural Perth Sevens.

The South African Sevens side already managed to book their place in the knockout stages after a perfect run early on with their wins against Canada and Spain on day one. Unfortunately their final Pool A game was a minor disappointment as they  were outclassed by the series leaders, Argentina, in a 19-5 defeat at HBF Park.

The Blitzboks will face the team that tops Pool C, either France or Fiji, in the second cup quarter-final at 1pm on Saturday.
