“It becomes harder to manage the selections. Loose forward and lock are getting tight for us. We are a bit thin at prop, but Neethling was magic," said Stormers coach, John Dobson, about their depth.”

The Stormers continued their unbeaten runs against the Sharks by winning Saturday's coastal derby in Durban during round ten of the United Rugby Championship.

The Stormers held on to beat the Sharks 25-21 and extend their unbeaten run against them to seven matches, while they have now also won 17 consecutive games against South African teams in the URC.

Both teams managed to score three tries in the game at Kings' Park, but it was the team from Cape Town that were slightly better in most aspects of the game.

The introduction of the former Cheetahs flyhalf in the second half definitely sparked something in the Sharks backline and it’s just a matter of time before he will make the number 10 jersey his own.

It also means that the Stormers have completed the coastal derby double against the Sharks after winning the previous match 16-15 in Cape Town.

Joseph Dweba, Paul de Wet and Ben Loaders all scored tries for the Stormers while Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu landed two conversions as well as two penalties.

Ox Nche, James Venter and Bongi Mbonambi all dotted down for the Sharks, while Curwin Bosch converted one try, with Masuku, slotting the other two.

Next week the teams will have off again, before another round of derbies on 2 March. The Stormers will travel to Pretoria to face the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld, while the Sharks head to Johannesburg to tackle the Lions at Ellis Park.
