The Leopards will be targeting back-to-back wins in the Currie Cup First Division when they tackle the Valke in Potchefstroom on Saturday

The Leopards made two changes to their match 23 with JP Mans replacing Haitembu Shikufa who is off to join the Namibian national team, while Herman Agenbag replaces the injured Ntobeko Shezi.

When the Valke faced the Leopards in the SA Cup last month, they claimed a convincing 50-19 win in Kempton Park.

The Leopards coach, Matt Proudfoot, told OFM Sport that this is a big and personal game for them, and it’s important to seek redemption as opposed to going our win revenge in mind.

“Revenge had a negative connotation and you tend to focus on the opposition, said Proudfoot.

“Redemption is about yourself and your self-pride. I speak very speak very highly of how the Falcons play rugby - I like the way that they play.

“They're a good acting side, they have a very strong and abrasive pack and good loose-forwards who carry well.

“This is from our perspective is about our redemption.”

Saturday’s match at Olën Park kicks off at 15:00.
