The Nedbank Cup champions, Free State Stars, have confirmed their first three signings heading into the 2018/19 Premier Soccer League season.
The sixth placed Ea Lla Koto managed to secure the signature of the Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder, Mpho Maruping.
The side from Qwaqwa also acquired the services of the Cape Town All Stars duo, Ricardo Ndiki and Tshepo Tema.
The coach, Luc Eymael, has confirmed that they have their sights set on a second Celtic player in the form of Deon Hotto.
Last week Free State Stars expressed their interest in the Namibian international. They conceded that they were battling to make contact with the player.
Hotto is contracted to Celtic until June, however, it is unclear whether or not the embattled club has tabled a new offer to the player who was a standout performer in the 2017/18 season.
