The former Bloemfontein Celtic captain and goalkeeper, Patrick Tignyemb, has been invited to re-join the Premier Soccer League club.

This comes just over a week after the former Cameroonian international skipper was fired for demanding outstanding bonus from the cash strapped club.

Before the incident, the players were each given a letter which stated that they have to report for training or face not being paid their salaries for May, or worse, have their contracts terminated.

When Tignyemb and the team captain met with the clubs management, things turned sour and he was dismissed.

Both Tignyemb and the Celtic CEO, Khumbulani Konco’s, version of events differ somewhat.

At this stage, the 33-year-old shot-stopper is still deciding if he will be returning to the club or not.

Tignyemb, who has played for Celtic his entire senior career, indicated that he is still upset about last weeks’ events and that he still needs to calm down.

There has been a rumour that Tignyemb has been undergone a medical at another club, however, he told OFM Sport that this is not the case.

Tignyemb has been in goal for Celtic since 2008.
