The two semi-finals in the UEFA Nations league have been played and have been completed and, with that being said, it is time to set sights on the final.

The first semi-final between Portugal and Switzerland was dominated by the Portuguese captain, Christiano Ronaldo, who scored a hat trick on his teams way to a 3-1 victory.

The second, much anticipated, semi-final was played between Netherlands and England on June 06. A slightly changed English side went into the game without Harry Kane, who found himself on the bench at the expense of Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford.

It was a decision which paid off for Gareth Southgate as Rashford fired England into the lead in the first half. Matthijs De Light equalised matters for Netherlands with 15 minutes left on the clock, forcing the game into extra time.

Extra time would become Netherlands time with Kyle Walker netting an own goal passed his own keeper, before Quincy Pomes took the game away from the English with 6 minutes left on the clock.

The 3-1 scoreline in favour of Netherlands sees the dutch side traveling to Portugal to where they will be hosted by Christiano Ronaldo and he's Portuguese side. That final will be played on Sunday evening at 20h45, with the curtain raiser being the third and fourth playoff between Switzerland and England being played at 15h00.
